In this 300hr course you will expand upon the foundation of your yoga training, gaining valuable information for your advancement. Discover many new and key elements to the yoga puzzle to deepen your understanding of how to use yoga as a healing modality. The teachings offered by our esteemed faculty, will be based on a sound scientific and therapeutic rationale, optimized by thoughtful class structuring. This Yoga Therapeutics 300hr Yoga Teacher Training, will teach you how to offer fluid, integrated classes of postures, pranayama, and relaxation to enhance meditation and your students well-being. Our goal is that you will come to understand how to utilize powerful tools for personal transformation, to influence the healing of the body and mind. • Continue your study of yoga’s foundational philosophical texts, with a focus on bringing ancient wisdom into your modern lifestyle
• Deepen your understanding of the koshas: according to the yoga tradition, every one of us has five bodies, each made of increasingly finer grades of energy, learn to weave this aspect of philosophy into class settings
• Dive into yoga philosophy and find your own voice to weave philosophical concepts throughout public classes
• In depth look at the profound and timeless wisdom of yoga sutra(s) and Upanishads and find your own voice to weave philosophical concepts throughout public classes

• Experience the different of Vayus , including prana, udana, samana, apana, and vyana
• Receive guidance to expand of your knowledge of how and when to use breathing techniques, the practice of breathwork as it is a powerful discipline to enhance therapeutic classes and aid in meditation and to prepare oneself for movement
• In depth look at classical pranayamas and preparatory breathing techniques
• Learn how to layer guided meditation with clear focus and visualization techniques.
• Exploring seated meditation of 3, 5 and 15 minutes
• Understanding the effects of chanting as a healing tool to mobilize energy in the gross and subtle body
• Finding your voice for guided relaxation, body scans and the use of appropriate imagery
• Understand and enjoy the power mantra. Mantra, the sanskrit word, man, meaning mind, and, tra, meaning deliverance, or, projection. Chanting the sacred sound of the mantra delivers us from our sense dependency
• Chanting/use of sound, soothes us on a cellular level
• Enjoy and understand the benefits of extended silence in an in-class setting
Mudras and Joint Freeing
Mudras and Joint Freeing
• Expand your knowledge of the use of hand and body mudras and how to utilize them in a therapeutic manner
• Integrate mudras into classes with an understanding of sequencing, timing, and themes for individual Therapeutic Yoga classes, different months and seasons
• Overall joint health and mobility using Ayurveda and yoga to facilitate natural healing
• Understanding various ailments of joints using yoga as a lens
• Learn various sequences of joint freeing and understand their positive effects on the body
• Begin to understand the shifts toward floating the joints, understanding movements to support resilience, primal movement and maintenance of the body.

• Observation classes for any classes offered on the schedule (exemptions include Karma and New Grad classes, pre-registered courses, workshops and open practice classes)

Graduates of Yoga Sanctuary 250hr Yoga Teacher Training receive a 10% discount – $4477.50 (excludes Early Bird discount). A non-refundable $500 deposit is due upon acceptance to the program. All payments may be made by credit card, debit, bank draft, money order, certified cheque or cash. There will be a $25 administration fee on each payment in our various payment plans.

Ongoing Support for Our Graduates
Yoga Sanctuary offers different ongoing programs for graduates who are interested in continuing with various aspects of their studies free of charge.
Assisting Internship Yoga Sanctuary Assisting Internship program is available at each of our locations. This internship offers new grads the opportunity to assist in public drop in classes. Our Assisting program offers our new graduates a platform in which to refine and enhance their new skill set while being mentored by a senior teacher. A three (3) month minimum commitment is required.
New Graduate Classes Yoga Sanctuary provides new graduates an opportunity to teach on our public schedule! New graduate classes program offers a one-two month opportunity (4-8 week session) for graduates to build their teaching experience within an established studio setting. These classes are offered at each location of Yoga Sanctuary.
Volunteer Positions As a committed member of the community, Yoga Sanctuary is requested to participate in various single community events, often many teachers are requested. We endeavour to call upon our new graduates to participate, this adds yet another opportunity for grads to build their experience! Graduates of Yoga Sanctuary Yoga Teacher Training are in great demand for their in-depth knowledge, clear instruction, ability to teach to all levels, and ability to guide students to the experience of self-awareness that is the true essence of yoga. Yoga Sanctuary teachers range in age from their 20s to their 70s and can be found teaching in community yoga studios around the globe; in urban and rural areas; in schools, prisons, and hospitals; and at workplaces from the United Nations in Africa, a retreat centre in Nicaragua and yoga studios in Japan and Korea, because Yoga Sanctuary supports individual inquiry and expression and helps teachers the places you find our teachers are as varied as the teachers themselves.

Financial Benefits for Our Students:
- Successful graduates will receive an official Tuition Fee Receipt (T2202A) for Income Tax purposes for any of our Yoga Teacher Training Programs.
- Students will also receive an official Education and Textbook credit for courses more than 3 consecutive weeks in length, with at least 12 hours of instruction each month. Not all courses qualify for this credit.

What is included in the Training?
- Unlimited classes at both locations of Yoga Sanctuary for the full length of the course.
- A comprehensive manual and binder of supplementary materials.
- 15% discount off products, clothes and accessories of either of Yoga Sanctuary locations.
The 250 Hour Full Time Fast Track Teacher Training includes:
- Unlimited classes at both locations of Yoga Sanctuary for the duration of the course and 5 extra months of unlimited practice after the last faculty led weekend.
- A comprehensive manual and binder of supplementary materials.
The Advanced Yoga Teacher Training courses include:
- Handouts or a manual will be given for each of the individual modules of teacher training courses taken.
- A certificate will be granted upon successful completion of the requirements of each module.
A 300 hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training certificate will be awarded to each participant, after the completion of all requirements are received in a satisfactory manner. This 300-hour training is registered with HRSDC and Yoga Alliance.
