What level of yoga is
right for you?
LEVEL I
For beginning students to learn correct alignment and in basic yoga postures of Hatha, Vinyasa or Ashtanga Yoga. Students will also be introduced to various breathing techniques. Ideal for those students who are interested in exploring movement and breathing in new holistic ways.
LEVEL I/II
For students who have attended Level I classes and are ready for a more advanced beginning class. The basic postures are presented in more challenging ways with a focus on the fundamentals of yoga.
LEVEL II
Designed to take students to the intermediate level. More advanced postures and sequences are introduced requiring a bit more strength, stamina, and flexibility.
LEVEL II/III
Students must be familiar with intermediate yoga postures, including inversions and backbends. More challenging and vigorous sequences are typical in these classes.

Cobra in yoga is a symbol of listening, listening to ourselves truthfully and others around us, this communication is an essential part of bringing emotional strength and stability.
In this Self healing class we will explore the wisdom of ancient Tantras – the sounds, the symbols and the practices of seven levels of Chakra system. A yin inspired class with pranayamas and chakra light visualizations all to simply “PAUSE”.
Every third Thursday of the month enjoy the sound healing with Ivy Xantara using crystal singing bowls.

Ecstatic Dance is a free-form, non-structured movement throughout the body, guided by carefully selected music to encourage ultimate freedom within the mind-body-soul. This luscious playground is great for those who think “they can’t dance” and for experienced dancers alike, a place of freedom where we can all let loose with our peers.
Take this journey with us as we begin the night with Moon Salutations followed by ecstatic dance, finally releasing our bodies back to earth as you are gently guided into full relaxation through mantra and crystal bowl sound bath.

Hatha
The word hatha is Sanskrit and is composed of two words, “ha” and “tha”. “Ha” means sun, which represents warm masculine energy and strength. “Tha” means moon and represents the calm cooling feminine energy. The focus of Hatha Yoga is to merge these energies and unite the body, mind and spirit for health and well-being.
Hatha Flow
While using both the poses and the pace of regular Hatha classes, these classes sequence those poses differently and aim to keep the body moving with breath.

Hatha HypnoZen
Your HypnoZenYoga class will help you feel rested, confident, uplifted and powerful. True cellular healing and DNA transformation takes place in the space between the breath; the still point. The exciting combination of hypnosis and yoga trains the brain to go into the deeply healing state of theta, where the mind and body meet; the Zen space of true coherence and healing.
This transformative class of discovery and new techniques will leave you amazed at how flexible your brain and body really are. Learn to get out of your limbic brain, and free up your thinking, breathe and move through asana and live in the magic of the prefrontal cortex.
Hatha Yoga Therapy
Each class begins with clear intention and focus, contains calibrated breathing practices, short therapeutic moving sequences along with long held active and restorative postures, visualizations, incantation and finishes with short guided meditation. The class will vary according to changing season and honours the individual needs and constitution, please speak to the instructor before or after the class for personal recommendations.
Moon Yoga
The cycles of the moon affect the tides of the ocean in the same way that they affect the water in our bodies. Becoming aware of these effects helps us to utilize them for the positive.
A mixture of slow flow, moon salutations, meditation, chanting, yin and restorative yoga postures accompanied by music will assist you to experience your own internal well-being.
Hatha Yoga. Open to all levels. Moon Yoga is the cost of a regular drop-in class and/or use regular class passes.
Mysore/Open Practice
It is named after the city of Mysore, India, where Ashtanga yoga originated and was taught by Sri K Pattabhi Jois for many years. We love this style of practice and thought the benefits could be enjoyed by students of any style of yoga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Pranayama Pre Natal or Restorative. Work on as many or as few poses as you desire, because you decide what is best~
Mysore-style is the best way to deepen your practice and become self-sufficient so you can take your practice with you anywhere you go! While there is a 2 hour time frame given for this class, by all means, practice however long you can~ Be it 45 minutes, 60, or 90 minutes, or the full 2 hours. Start at any time during this two hour timeframe.
ALL LEVELS are welcome to practice at their own pace. The instructor will provide “hands on adjustments” and verbal cues as needed.

YIN – Transition to longer held passive stretches supported by props to increase flexibility and to facilitate deeper introspection.

Yoga for Mobility
This methodical, asana (posture) – based movement practice moving from head to toe, is accessible to all levels of ability and is a beneficial addition for beginner to advanced yoga practitioners alike. It allows you to address and release the resistance spots in your range of motion.
The foundation of this class is based on “Pawanmuktanasana”. Pawanmuktasana is composed of three Sanskrit words: pawan meaning ‘wind’ or ‘air’ in Ayurvedic terms ‘vata’ or ‘vayu’, mukta meaning ‘liberation’ or ‘freedom’ and asana meaning ‘posture’.
